Xcel publishes rebates on qualifying central AC, air source and cold-climate heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, high-efficiency gas furnaces and boilers, smart thermostats and heat pump water heaters. Some require a participating contractor and a quality installation check.

The federal 25C tax credit ended on December 31, 2025. Minnesota's heat pump rebate program has been announced but is not open yet. We will tell you what is truly available on the day we quote, and we will not build a price around money that may not arrive.

How fast can you get here?
For no-heat and no-cooling calls we aim for same-day service across the metro, and emergency calls are answered around the clock. When you call you get a real arrival window, and the technician texts when they are on the way.
What does a service call cost?
The diagnostic is $89. The technician finds the cause, then gives you a fixed price in writing for the repair. If you go ahead, the $89 comes off the bill. If you do not, the diagnostic is all you pay.
Do you charge more at night or on weekends?
No. The rate is the same at 2am on a Sunday as it is on a weekday morning. A furnace that quits in a cold snap is stressful enough.
Should I repair or replace my furnace?
As a rule of thumb, if the furnace is under 12 years old and the repair is modest, repair it. If it is past 15 to 20 years, needs a major part such as a heat exchanger, or your gas bills keep climbing, replacement usually costs less over the next few winters. We will give you both numbers and let you decide.
Do you work on every brand?
Yes. Our technicians repair and maintain all major brands of furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits and water heaters, including older equipment.
Do you handle permits and rebates?
Yes. On installations we pull the mechanical permit with your city, schedule the inspection, and fill out the utility rebate paperwork for equipment that qualifies.

Yes. We service and install rooftop units, boilers, split systems and ventilation for offices, restaurants, retail, churches and multi-family buildings, with planned maintenance agreements available.
